Media continues to exist as a dynamic sector that is constantly increasing its influence on societies. In this sense, press and publishing is one of the most influential sectors in the field. The rapid development of new communication technologies and the need for journalism to utilise these tools has created a demand for qualified personnel. Accordingly, the aim of the Journalism Department is to train qualified personnel who have acquired fundamental knowledge and skills related to the processes from the source of the news to the printing and publishing stages, and to fill an important gap in this field through research, both locally and nationally.
